Syrian Crisis: How You Can Help?

The war in Syria have entered the 13th year and so far more than 300000 peoples have died, including women and children's. That is about 1.5 % of the Syrian population. The war has left millions homeless. Since 2011, more than 14 million peoples have been forced to flee from their homes. More than 6.8 million peoples remain internally displaced in Syria while approximately 5.5 million people are taking shelter in five neighboring countries- Egypt, Turkey, Lebanon, Iraq and Jordan. Around 90 percent of the families in the country lives under the poverty line. The powerful earthquake that hit Syria in February 2023 killed more than 7000 peoples in Syria. Below is the list of organizations working on the ground to provide humanitarian assistance to the peoples in need.

UNICEF is working on the ground to help the children's impacted by the war. Across Syria, some 2.4 million children's between 5-17 age group are out of school.

28% of children in Syria suffer from stunting due to malnutrition. Save The Children is working with its team and partners in Syria and in neighboring countries are helping peoples of Syria both the refugees and internally displaced peoples providing- food, shelter, sanitation, water, medical care, education and child protection. There are more than 5 million Syrian refugees worldwide most of them lives in neighboring countries under the poverty line. Most of them lives in shelter and most of the children's living in them do not goes to school. Help UNHCR by donating money so that they can help the refugees of Syria who are paying the cost of war by fleeing away from their country, from their land.

Red Cross volunteers are delivering food, medicine, and other essential items to the peoples in desperate need across Syria.
